Uncommon stories start with people like you.

Got an idea you can’t stop thinking about? Let’s build it together.

Applications are now open for the first cohort of the Uncommon Startup Incubator Program.

It’s an 18-week programme for young founders who are ready to test their ideas, develop their products or services, and turn them into real, working businesses.

You don’t need a registered company, revenue, or a polished pitch deck to apply. What we’re looking for is simple: evidence that you’ve started, openness to feedback, and the commitment to keep going.

What you’ll get:
- Practical coaching
- Workspace access
- Relevant workshops
- Connections to mentors and specialists

How far you go depends on what you test, learn, and achieve.

Who should apply?
- Founders aged 18–35, from any sector
- Uncommon alumni will be prioritised, but external applicants are welcome
- Teams with a working prototype or MVP are preferred, but solo founders and strong early-stage ideas will also be considered

You’ll need to attend sessions at Uncommon HQ at The Performance Hub, 170 The Chase, Groombridge, Harare, and be available from January to May 2027.

When you apply, tell us what you’ve done and what you want to learn. Keep it clear and simple. We’re more interested in action than business buzzwords.

Application deadline: 27 November 2026
Programme dates: January to May 2027
Questions or application support: khesani@uncommon.org

Please note: selection does not guarantee funding, and any funding or investment offer will have separately agreed terms. Only shortlisted applicants will receive feedback and be invited to a short conversation.
